These Terms govern an individual authorised user's access to Aegir websites, web applications and mobile applications (the "Application"). The organisation, utility, residents' association or other entity that gives you access is the "Customer". Commercial supply, hardware, subscription and service terms between i47 and the Customer are governed by the Customer Agreement, not these Terms.
By activating or using an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application and ask the Customer administrator to remove your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised by the Customer to use the Application. You may use it only for the Customer and units assigned to you. You must not allow another person to use your session or OTP.
The Application authenticates users through a mobile number and one-time password. You must keep your phone, SIM, device and active session secure; promptly report loss, number reassignment or suspected unauthorised access; and never share an OTP.
The Customer controls your role and unit access. i47 may suspend access where instructed by the Customer or reasonably necessary to protect users, data, devices or the Services.
You may view and use information available to your authorised role for legitimate water management, billing, maintenance and related Customer purposes. You must comply with applicable law, Customer policies and instructions displayed in the Application.
You must not:
Meter readings, derived consumption, leak indicators and device-status information depend on sensors, networks, power, installation and data processing. They may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Aegir is a management aid and is not an emergency, life-safety or certified billing service unless the Customer Agreement expressly states otherwise.
Do not rely on an alert as the sole means of preventing property damage or managing an emergency. Verify suspected leaks and take appropriate physical action. You may opt out of optional operational SMS alerts through the in-app settings page or by contacting your Customer administrator or the Customer administrator. OTPs are sent only when login is requested.
Our Privacy Policy explains i47's handling of personal data. The Customer ordinarily decides whose member data is entered and which units they may access. Direct rights requests about a member account should normally be made to the Customer administrator, though i47 will accept and route privacy requests.
Do not upload another person's personal data unless the Customer has authorised you and met applicable notice and consent requirements. Do not upload personal data about a person under 18.
i47 and its licensors own the Application, software, interfaces, documentation, trademarks and service-generated intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, i47 grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Application during your authorised access. No ownership is transferred to you.
Customer Data ownership and i47's use of anonymised aggregate information are governed by the Customer Agreement and Privacy Policy.
We may maintain, update or change the Application and may temporarily interrupt it for maintenance, security, network failure or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Mobile networks, SMS delivery, app stores and internet access are provided by third parties under their own terms and may incur charges.
We will give reasonable notice of a material change that adversely affects users where practicable or legally required.
Your access ends when the Customer removes it, the Customer Agreement ends, or i47 suspends or terminates it for security, unlawful use or material breach. On termination, stop using the Application. Personal-data retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy and Customer Agreement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any mandatory consumer right.
To the extent permitted by law, the Application is provided on an "as available" basis. i47 does not warrant uninterrupted availability or that every sensor reading or alert will be error-free. i47 is not liable to an individual user for indirect or consequential loss arising from authorised use of a Customer account. Any contractual service remedy is to be pursued under the Customer Agreement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory law, courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Before commencing proceedings, please send the dispute to dpdp@i47.in and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution.
We may revise these Terms. We will publish the effective date and give prominent advance notice of a material adverse change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; where fresh affirmative acceptance is required, we will request it.
